Safety and Usage Guidelines
Snorkeling and spearfishing in Simeulue are incredible experiences. To ensure you stay safe and respect our local reefs, please follow these core guidelines during your rental.
01. Equipment Safety
Spearguns are powerful tools. Never load your speargun while out of the water. Always point the tip away from others and keep the safety on until you are ready, we are not responsible for injuries or death.
02. Reef Etiquette
Protect the marine life. Do not touch or stand on corals, and follow local guidelines on fish species that are permitted. Help us keep Simeulue as wild and vibrant as we found it.
03. Use the Buddy System
Never dive or snorkel alone. Always have a buddy nearby to monitor for safety and help navigate current changes. Local guides are available if you want expert support.
04. Care & Maintenance
Saltwater is tough on gear. Please rinse all rental equipment thoroughly with fresh water after each use to keep bands, shafts, and masks in peak condition for your next dive.
